I’m not sure if Kick Ass if going to be any good, but as the counter-weight to The Watchmen it has potential. Regardless, the marketing has been dead-on in creating buzz from the bottom up with efforts like this. Unfortunately the best version of their signature series-shirt is only available on the UK French Connection website. The state-side version leaves something to be desired…

If Mario and René Magritte got together I would imagine the result would be this. $10 until the end of the week on Threadless.
I guess it’s a lot more difficult to disprove something of this nature, but that doesn’t mean that you should stop believing. Face it, $24 is a small price to pay in order to keep the dream alive.

Threadless has a ton of tees for $9 posted on their site, of which this is definitely my favorite. It shows off some nice and clean vector art that, in most cases, isn’t too divergent from the inexplicable overseas signage found on sites like Engrish.

I simply love how bizarre my fave threadless tee is, as it elicits immediate laughter. It definitely has that Kid Robot-style disturbing/adorable dual nature.

How many versions and variety of these have I seen? Quite a few to date, but the retro headphones on these can’t be beat. It rolls in a bit pricey butwhat can I say, I heart the bright orange. Get it for $25 here at Graniph.

Loads of hope is a program I was exposed to via Hulu ads and I think it’s genius in several ways. First it funds a program that provides laundry services to victims of natural disasters, which is pretty awesome in and of itself. Second, it’s a cheap, easy, guilt-free philanthropy. Third is that it sends a message to potential purchasers that there is something behind this brand name other than the profit margins made by conglomerate Proctor and Gamble–a program that acts to aid those in need. Added bonus to the manufacturer is the halo effect achieved by those wearing the shirt (who get to explain it in their words) and the subsequent exposure to the program. Oh, and it’s a nicely cut t-shirt with a classic logo. That helps too.

Genius stuff right here for $18. Threadless does it again, but personally I think this is better suited for a screenprint than anything else. Not sure I want to be wearing this on my chest is all…..I swear I peeped this before Gizmodo (I’m on the Thredless newsletter) uploaded this about 30 minutes ago–damit!

Ever thought about mapping out subculture, counterculture, or just culture in general by hairstyle? Neither did, I but it’s pretty funny stuff/an interesting concept that apparently makes for nice, clean vector-art generated t-shirts. Would I change the colors from McRedYellow? Yes, I would hope that someone might discover this and offer some options sometime soon. Check out the site here in order to pick one up before UrbanOutfitters starts knocking them off en masse.
